This award-winning inspiring film, now available on VHS, is a beautiful testimonial to the life of Dr. Albert Schweitzer, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and Humanitarian. The film was first shown in Boston in 1957. Erica Anderson, Schweitzer's film biographer, made 19 trips from New York to his African hospital. She also joined him on his European sojourns in 1952, 1953, 1955, 1957 and 1959, his last trip to Europe. He died in 1965.
